We are a non-profit organization that has been supporting the area since 1981. Our main office is located in Olney, Illinois and is available by phone 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Information and Assistance Program

Provides assistance with filing circuit breakers, Medicare D and general information, referral to other services in Clay, Fayette, and Jefferson Counties

SWAN Intervention Services/Partner Abuse Intervention Program

A structured education program which is based on the nationally recognized Duluth Model.  It is designed to assist the abuser to understand their acts of violence, to teach skills for nonviolent bahavior, and to understand the cause of their violence by examining other factors that influence the choice to be violent.  Classes are held in Olney and Effingham.

Adult Protective Services
Investigates allegations of abuse involving victims who are:
  • 18 years or older and has a disability
  • 60 years or older
  • Resides in the community
  • Has someone who is abusing them
